The Prelude... After three hours of salesman hell, the Head Lizard agrees to pay $399 for three days and two nights at the beautiful Palm Canyon Resort and Spa in Palm Springs...
- Day #1... Since there is no check-in before 4:00 pm, the day starts late, but there is nothing to do anyway, so we go to town. The Palm Springs area is nice...
- Day #2... More torture by the sales staff... We complain about the room (see pictures below)... They get nasty... We go to town, again. The Palm Springs area is nice...
- Day #3... We leave early, before the 11:00 check-out... We go home. San Diego is also nice.
The Palm Canyon Resort and Spa claims to be "Five Star," but you can judge for yourself... We figure they meant five stars out of one hundred...
And the lesson was?... The Palm Springs area is nice... The folks at Pacific Monarch Resorts are not.
